This is my first art attack I made for Artfight. This one went out to ExtraRare, the artist who introduced me to Artfight originally. Specifically, it's of her fursona, "Banana;" more specifically, of a marginal doodle of her fursona she styled to look like Trogdor, the Burninator... more accurately, that was the starting plan, but I cowered out - maybe because of a hunch it had been already done, but mainly because I couldn't make the muscular arms look good. So started a new period of brainstorming, mostly clinging to the theme of 'burninating,' which eventually led to the idea of fire visibly rising... within Banana,, like a furnace,. ahem.
The Trogdor connection is referenced via a decal under her ear. The other sticker is based on this other drawing of Banana wearing Wario's biker garb. If I made this 2024 or later, I maybe would have made an Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog ref, that toon is kinda her lifeblood now. Also, there's an insignia printed on her window if you look close. I based it on the eyes of her "mascot" character, Puggo. After adding all these little ref-deets, I feared there may be a visible difference between my attacks on creators I've known, and those on characters I just stumbled upon on the battlefield.
