Bedtime is a theme I'll always love, and I ADORE cute things looking grumpy or angry. I don't know why I just love the silliness of it!
This piece features Penelope's melon sleeper PJ's and her oldest plushy! These were my favorite kind of pajamas as a kid, living in a colder climate really warranted something super toasty!
The pattern on the PJ's here are actually inspired by the most adorable toddler's romper dress I saw forever ago, sadly lost to time. It had the most adorable melon print across the chest. Why are kids clothes so cute, it's not fair! ;_;

As someone who's mainly an art commissioner as well, I really love seeing you expressing your thoughts on each piece you've gotten over time too! It's super interesting and almost makes me wanna do the same for my page if I wasn't so shy about it, lol <3

HONESTLY, commenting my thoughts on every commission was something I promised myself I'd do...and it's probably the biggest reason I held off posting my doodles for so long XD
It's totally worth it though! It's so fun to re-live the memories and tell little stories about things that happened with the commission process! What's the worst that will happen, someone leaves a nice comment? :3
