Here's the second profile ID pic, I love how it came out :p it features the kind of "heavy" armor the AFF freedom fighters would use for certain assault missions.
So here's Ace's armor, with his customized vest and armor plates, with some messages carved in them by him or some of his partners in crime. ^^
Oh and by the way, BOHICA stands for : Bend Over Here It Comes Again. xD

Thanks, for the flag though, it's true no us soldier would wear the flag upside down since it's used as a sign of distress, but in the case of my comic, the situation's quite different. These characters are mostly former soldiers and respect more than anything else the flag they fought for, but they were betrayed by their new government, the story takes place in a post-apocalyptic era and the current US flag has been replaced by a new one and is now forbidden in Angel City (city where the events take place), therefore this character usually wears one us flag upside down. It's a way for him to say his country is in great distress and needs to be saved, and that's why he and his brothers in arms fight. ^^
Wow, that'd be a long story... ^^' though, to make it as simple as possible...
Ryan's a former US Army medevac helicopter pilot. Once they mixed the different US military branches into a single branch and replaced the soldiers by robots and other machines, he therefore lost his job and returned to Angel City, where he found a job as a paramedic. Then, one night he treated a wounded armed guy in the streets who didn't want to go to the hospital, saying he only needed to be quickly patched up for the moment. And so later on he understood the guy he treated was a freedom fighter after the AFF got in touch with him, and he finally joined them because he felt they were fighting for good reasons and he just wanted to help.
Ace was a USMC Force Recon operator, but then he lost his job, he returned to Angel City as well and started working as a security guard (since the police department refused to employ former military personnel), and one night, while going home, he was stopped by two police officers (who are at that time real thugs with badges) and when they started messing around with him instead of a regular control, he simply lost it, grabbed his gun, and shot them. After the shots, some freedom fighters who were tailing these two cops approached him and offered him a way out by following them to their van, he accepted, they took him with them, and after a long talk, he agreed to join the AFF, determined to help them take control of the city.
And yeah, that's the short version. ^^

so that how Ace & Ryan eventually meet then (in the AFF) then I take it, also when does Rosie Dixen come into the mix? Because I sensed fraying tensions between the two
and my final question - Does it work for the AFF, do they succeed, do they fail either way what happens?
P.S. Do you think that & Ryan are a bit of a Lothario/love-rat because that's what I'm getting.
thanks for answering my questions

Well actually, when he joins the AFF, Ace quickly finds some interest in Rosie, and something does happen, but when it's over (don't wanna give too much info about that since it's part of the story), Ace will end up with Ryan (Ryan flirts with Ace as soon as he joins the AFF, but Ace simply tells him more than once that he's not interested in guys, but in the end Ryan's gonna change that x) ). But yeah anyway at first there's no "true love" story at all, Ryan's the kind of guy who goes after one night stands only at the time of these events (there too, there's reasons behind that but I don't feel like telling them yet since I'm still planning on using this story later on) and so to him, Ace would be just another trophy at first, nothing more. But of course, for some reasons, that will change a lot. As for the love-rat part, Rosie, Ryan and Ace are actually very faithful once they're in a relationship with someone.
