アリスのおとぎ話の夢(Alice's Fairy Tale Dream)
I did this painting sometime last month. I was trying out some PC Engine games when I came across an Alice theme one. You know, I love Alice in Wonderland. I made Alice a bush baby. I thought that would be cute. She was very close to being a pot-belly pig. I ended up changing my mind at the last minute.
I was just playing through the first levels of that game. And, made it to the boss stage. Which had the pattern that you are seeing on the boarder at the time. I was not thinking of LV (Louis Vuitton) because, for one, I don't keep up with or notice big brands. I am more likely to notice stuff from AP (Angelic Pretty), BTSSB (baby the star shines bright), etc. Mostly because I prefer Lolita Fashion to... you know, Chanel or Gucci. lol, So I decided to take the background of the game, which shows LA, not LV. Yeah, they turn the V into an upside-down A. I worked it into my piece only for my friend to point that out.
Today you don't see that as much as games take stuff from other brands. But, for example, it happened a lot back then. The first Shinobi had Spiderman, who also turned into Batman. Then came Shinobi 3 for the Sega Genesis...I think Godzilla, who became... Mechagodzilla too has reasons. lol
I do really like this painting. I hope to sell her off after I've framed her. Maybe prints in the future too, if requested a lot.

I’d suggest LA as Lovely Angels for short.
Funny that putting numerous efforts and ideas to produce Lolita dresses and accessories, are still cheaper than many global fashion brands for everyday folks. AP is surely steep for starters (as I begin with BTSSB), but some famous prints they made are still a great choice for many years ahead.

Oh well that is quite lovely, a very lovely save. Thank you for the suggestion. ♥ Also love BTSSB one my favorite brands even to this day. I just like the styles. I do agree I always see you can go back use some of their older pieces AP too and a few others off the top my head. But just so versatile and love that about the fashion. Sorry, I am just kinda talking here. (^.^; ) And thank you so much for stopping by and looking at my work. :3
