Nothing feels quite so satisfying as charging into melee range where I shine most and feeling the pathetic little plinks and plonks of magic bolts bouncing harmlessly off of my shield. Mages get too smug and think they got it all taken care of, then suddenly they get bashed in the side of the head and have a sword pointed at them and they wonder where it all went wrong.
