This was the result of my first official non-stream doodle commission with Kipaki. I outlined a cute scene for her that she ended up really liking! When I got the sketch for this I realized she had interpreted my words different from what I had imagined, but liked her cozy take on things and decided to take what she offered :D

Originally I was picturing her sitting on an armless wooden single person chair, just posing and looking all cute, you know, standard babyfur stuff! I had mentioned I wasn't sure if I wanted her to be grumpy or sweet, but as soon as I saw Kipa's take on it I knew she had made the right choice <3 I love that she's looking directly at the point of view, as if you've just stumbled onto a scene you weren't supposed to see XD

I ADORE THIS SO MUCH! It is SUCH a cozy scene! I really love all the little doodads she added, the cutesy band around the wall, the outfit! The only thing that kind of got lost in translation was the shoes. I mean I adore cute shoes but cmon, shoes on the COUCH? Uncalled for!...I'm not actually upset about that I'm just being silly :D

The plushy she's holding here is a cameo of one of her own characters, Kipi! We don't see her much anymore but she's always been my favorite of her original species :D I really love the detail on Penelope's hair and ears here, seeing them hang off the edge is so cute!

The outfit was roughly inspired by me, I gave the details on what is being worn, but she's the one that picked the style for them, and I think added the gigantic bow! More subtle padding here as well. I DO enjoy a more blatant diaper at times, but I just really love the idea that the character depicted is just wearing them casually, it's no big deal or special occasion.

Historically, Penelope's ears were supposed to fall between her shoulder blades and mid back, but over time people just KEPT giving her gigantic ears, so over time I just let people do it more and more ♥ Honestly they're cute, I don't mind people making embellishments like that.
