In revelation of the guessing game answer, yes, the reason for the funny behavior was that Matsi was playing with a pine cone I brought her. She rolled in it, she threw it in the air and run after it, digged in snow to fish it out and even threw herself on it - all the crazy things our belowed four-legged doggy friends do with their toys. Matsi was two and half years old when I took these pictures in december 2010.
