For the past fourteen years, she was a part of my life. She came to us as a rescue, with nothing but a urine stained blanket and a rope around her neck. That same day we got her a pretty pink harness, new leash, a big bed with homemade blanket and plenty of toys. She would follow us from room to room.
Even knocking doors open just to make sure we were alright.
She was always getting treats, even when she wasn't suppose to. That's why her food bag was always stored behind a dead bolt door so she couldn't get at it.

She was a pampered little princess and she knew it. Though she would get into trouble from time to time. We still loved her and would never have her change for anything.

She was my baby girl.

At 10:20 EDT, she was put down. Her body had begun to shut down. We couldn't do anything to help her aside from be there with her in her final moments.
