The Burntilus floats within the molten cavern, producing valuable stone fragments.

The Burntilus is an airborne nautilus found in the cavern of Inferno Meadow.

It hunts on Spark Flies and Basalt Crabs, making short work on the latter using it's tentacles and sharp stingers. It's sharp beak helps it crushes the crab's hard basalt shell.

It is pretty timid. It would attempt to float away if approached, even though it isn't fairly difficult to catch. Be careful when handling, however, since it's magma shell makes it hot to touch with barehands.

Occasionally the nautilus would produces a magical fragment - dubbed Burntilus Stone. These stones are used in potion brewery. Basalt Crabs that ingested these stones mutates into Greater Basalt Crabs.
