Hey! I'm alive! Sorry for the long stretches of silence, but I've been quite busy with college. Specifically, working on a 3 minute animated short from scratch that has since been submitted and approved! Guys, i'm an animator! :D

So this was interesting!
I know that I have a sorta rule of not drawing fanart of already existing characters, mostly because i feel contractually obligated to match the original art style as close as possible, and screw that? But this time, I was commissioned to draw not just Midna, but what MY version of Midna would be like!

So I couldn't pass that, no. And here it is! I tried to combine the iconic details of the Imp Form with her more lackluster true form, as well as including some details from Twili concept art that I found before. Then i removed her nightmarish helmet and redesigned it to fit more of a crown. And arrived at this!

I have to say, this was an unusual request. But then again i shouldn't be surprised, considering this backer often times uses his rewards to have me draw fanart. last time it was fallout...
