At last he was getting his special paint! His owner had saved up neopoints for so long to fulfill his special request... he wanted to experience the Woodland paintbrush. Always an unorthodox Pteri, afraid of heights and nervous, he just longed for a simple, calm life in the garden. As the thick, goopy paint was spread between his feet, stretching himself up tall as the flesh between them was drawn together, fusing and solidifying into rigid bark as the paint dried, forming his once separate legs into a sturdy trunk. He wiggled his stretching toes down into the comforting potted soil beneath him, feeling them split and root securely, holding him permanently in place within the pot.

The bird shivered with wonderment at the sensation of drawing up moisture through his new roots, mind trying to make sense of the curious new feelings he was experiencing as more and more of the paint was spread over his feathers. It first clung heavily like a shell before seeping down to his skin and absorbing inward, body creaking as muscle turned to immobile wood, still shaped like a Pteri but decidedly plant. His tail arched up behind him, splitting and spreading with budding green leaves that soaked up the warm afternoon sunlight... as the paint was brushed around the last of his yellow feathers, he sighed contentedly, feeling at home in the garden at last, and relishing the admired attention he was given here, a perfect addition among the plants~

It's been like 15+ years since I last played Neopets, but I was thinking back to it nostalgically, and how so much of it was TF-ey! From goopy paint brushes to the lab ray, morphing potions, magical TF plushies... heck. Probably influenced a lot of us! Those who played anyhow. And then I find out there's statue and tree paint brushes that came out after I left, so long ago??

Just had to try drawing this one too!!
