Hard to come up with a good title for this.
Anyway. What if this bit from the Tom & Jerry short, Tom-ic Energy, has a different take on the inflation part? Like, instead of the body, Tom's feet get inflated by Jerry?

- but instead of ballooning, Jerry goes macro, ala King-Size Canary and by the time Tom notices his plan isn't working out properly, it's too late. Jerry picks him ap and for the first time in years, he speaks and say's, "You little f*cking p*ssy! You tried to pop me like a BALLOON!? I'll show you how to pop a balloon, you little pr*ck!". He then takes a deep breath and inserts Tom's entire head into his mouth and blows him up like a weather balloon. After a few more huffs, Tom is now the size of a hot air balloon. Jerry smirks at him and with one final breath.... but I digress.
Great artwork! Love this scene a lot and it's always awesome to see it referenced in artworks. Very nice twist on how the gag went! Also great recreation on the original background and great attention to details such as his mouth shape around the hose! Hope to see more artworks of this from you! :)
