Amelia Erlantz and Gibbous Moon [Americana]
Amelia Erlantz
The stoic pastor with a dark past hidden behind the glare of the sun.
Amelia Erlantz served in Wizard War 2 as a field medic before becoming a pastor. Her curatives saved many lives, and her skill at arms saved many more. She has more than a bit of prejudice towards 'creatures of the night', werewolves, vampires, even skeletons, because of her upbringing. But she does her best not to let those stop her from doing her job.
Now Amelia serves as the pastor of Djerkwotr's largest church, the Church of Sol, helping to lead those that need guidance down the path of the light. Amelia is always there to be a voice of solace and comfort to the downtrodden and exhausted workers of Djerkwotr and her Sunday sermons tend to focus more on opportunity than damnation.
Amelia is the sole parental figure in Gabbi's life, and while she is an excellent pastor, she makes for a subpar parent. She means well, but she can seem out of touch and disconnected from the goings-on in Gabbi's life, and often does more harm than good when she tries to help.
Gibbous Moon
A single father waxing with love for his boy.
Gibbous is a rotund and jovial trans man that lives in a small Werehouse apartment with his son Moone. He's forgone a traditional job in favor of working the Werehouse kitchen during the day when Moone is at school, so that he can be free to spend more time with his little mooney. It's unusual for a young were to stay with his father for so long, but Gibbous is happy to support Moone no matter how long he wants to stay in the nest.
Gibbous can perhaps be too accomodating for his son. If Moone needs something, anything, he'll bend over backwards to make it happen. If anyone hurts Moone or anyone he cares about, Gibbous will jump to protect him like an angry mama bear. He's so fervent that sometimes Moone keeps secrets from him so as not to stress him out.
Gibbous isn't sure who Moone's other father is, likely the result of a passionate fling in his wild youth. Given that most were live with no parents, Moone hasn't seen fit to question why he only has one.
