"Silent but deadly!!!"
Wouldn't of got that from our first encounter...at least not the "deadly" part but more on that later!!! It was a decent day I was about to head to shore when I heard a "THUD" as well as felt my boat shake. I knew I didn't hit anything so I went to investigate! Now a little bit of water on a boat is to be expected, with waves crashing against your ship and all, but a puddle trail naturally raises one's suspicions!!!
The trail lead to my fishing haul! At first it was hard to heard due to the various sounds of my surroundings, but upon leaning in I could hear someone or SOMETHING was munching on my fish!!!
I kicked the barrel nearest to me to let my visitor know I wasn't fond of them eating my livelihood! Her tail flopped out...and then I saw her as her head popped out from among the barrels! Again probably because she was eating my fish, I wasn't too hospitable towards her as I demanded that she removed herself from my boat!!! She simply shook her head "no" and pointed towards the sea!
No lie I didn't look at first...I had no intention of discovering how hard she could whip her tail!... (besides no one falls for the "behind you" trick...even when something IS in fact behind you!!!) But the panic and concern on her face as she silently insisted I turn around...pleading without saying a word finally got me to turn and gaze upon the ocean
Nothing but blue waters, but I continued to scan the seas in the general direction...and that's when I saw it! A small spout of water gushing out from the blowhole of a nearby Wailord! Followed by another on my right!!! And ANOTHER to my left! Each spout causing the Primarina to shake in fear as the pod circled my little boat!
...Clever girl!!! This little standoff lasted for about an hour before the Wailords eventually submerged and moved on! We drifted for another hour before moving on ourselves, using my sonar equipment to ensure it was safe to get back in the water! Naturally she was grateful for my assistance...she even apologized for the fish she ate (eating helps calm her nerves) and made up for it plus interest!!!
That's when she introduced herself: "Anahita!" As she informed me of how she was aware that first encounters require introductions, showing some knowledge of our "surface dwelling customs" as she put it! Over time we got to know each other pretty well. Indeed silent at as mouse upon my first meeting but quite the talker once I got to know her! But I must warn you...when within the same weight class Ana's QUITE the fighter!
I DID eventually find out how strong that tail of her was (not directly mind you)! And she's very cunning too! She like to feign the "fish out of water" scenario before promptly opening up a can on her unsuspecting foes! That is when she feels like it...sometimes she'll show off her special talents...Playing off the "Siren" trope Ana's melodic voice CAN take a hold of you and place you under her spell, getting you to do...just about whatever she wants at that time!!!
But men's minds aren't the ONLY thing her voice can control! I don't know how...but...she can control water with her voice...kind of making her a singing 'Water-Bender" so to speak! So TRUST me when I say...it wise to stay on her good side!!!
