Not really furry art, but meh. It was fun to do! <3
One of the smaller and less-serious paintings for my Solo Exhibition.
It measures in at 150x150 mm and was done in ink and acrylic. It is a fun little technique. :)
The original artwork has been sold, but signed prints are still available in plenty of sizes for anyone who is interested- Just send me a note if you are thinking of buying one.
also... wtf FA?? You do not have a 'fish' category... D:

woah! 18 years??? That sure is impressive! I had no idea coral fish could live that long. He must have kept the tank in an amazing condition! :D
Random fact/rant-about-fisheries time:
Oooh, and and and and did you know that most deep sea fish have incredibly long lifespans? :D
There is this newzealand red one (which nearly went extinct recently due to deep sea fishing practices), and they live for a 100's of years each. They where nearly fished into extinction because, due to their long lifespan, they don't reach maturity until 20 years old. So when they where fished most of the fish that where caught and killed never got the chance to breed, and so fisheries destroyed entire generations.... And because we know so little about the deep sea life it was difficult to see what damage was being done until an entire species was on the brink of extinction.
My partner and I are thinking of studying biology next year together, we both find plants and animals fascinating- the deep sea especially. My god, wow! It's like magic.

Hehe Yes he had had the tank since I was born, and it got to a point where he no longer had to add salt or anything, it developed it's own ecosystem. That is how we could always tell how old the clown fish were because they were like 2 years younger then me. We had ALL different kinds of tropical fish, and I envy you being where you are near so many reefs and what not. Some of the best reefs no less and studying biology! UGH!! < jealous >
I studied Biology as well, but all I got was a crazy zoology teacher that kept dead animals in her freezer to be taxidermied
So on a side note, how much for this lovely painting?
