Usually, Berri infiltrates and takes what she can from any non-suspecting targets. A shelf was a biiit out of reach, so the logical conclusion was to use a few smokebombs to swell herself out enough to grab what was on there and head out.
Not only did she go a bit overboard, but it also didn't take long for her to get caught with all the noises she ended up making. Hopefully she's better at explaining than snatching...
