"Which is easier...dying, knowing that you gave it your all? Or living forever, knowing that you failed?"

Finished up this little design for an epic-level Kaius, as he would appear following his campaign, after the end of all things.

Kaius Veritasi has come along way since his early days. Over the course of his journey, he accepted vampirism as a means of uniting his House with another, building a stronger front to work in the shadows to help combat the dark powers. Despite everyone's best efforts, however, the battle was lost. The world was broken, and dark, twisted gods arose from the wreckage.
But there were some remnants of the old world left - including Kaius, and including the deity he champions. They are a deity of the moon, and a deity of death. And Kaius is their active hand in the new world. The darkness yet lives, and darkness is the front that Kaius continues the fight on. He will never forget the price of their failure to stop it, to stop him.

The long centuries have perhaps chipped away at much of his former softness.
