Another of the beasts from the documentary I made, the Scaled mouse.
Within this wonderland of decomposers (Fungal Forest), Scaled Mice are one of the primary herbivores measuring at 16 cm or just over 6 inches long, eating seeds, nuts, and various small fungi. Scaled Mice aren’t mice at all, but a type of modern Synapsid reptile with large incisors and crushing teeth that allow it to eat seeds and nuts. These little brown faux mice skitter across the reeking floor of the forest, and will bury some of their food in order to save it for winter.
