...as a kitten.

Drawn by the amazing  MoonlightSinner, this piece shows Simon back in his youth, back when things were simpler and games were still brand spanking new.

The scene:
Back in the day, Simon's parents were friends with another family called the Silversmiths. They had two kids, and the oldest of them owned one of the earliest NES systems around. One day, when visiting, Simon watched as the elder Silversmith sibling was playing "The Legend of Zelda". He saw how fairies could have been hiding anywhere, and so with a little net, the kitten Simon wandered out into the yard back home searching for fairies.

His mother thought it was so cute, she took this picture that you see here. It is now the obligatory "Blackmail" photo that she pulls out whenever she wants to embarass Simon.
