Based on something that happened to me many years ago. In a hurry to grab some cheap supplies for a fishing trip, I bought a bottle of sunscreen from a dollar store. Apparently, sunscreen has a shelf-life that I was unaware of and this had expired. Unfortunately, I had to learn this the HARD way... X(
