Lahisa; goddess of Knowledge and understanding.
Far in the northwest of Charadawn is a city known as Lahisa's fang, a fang shape mountain with a library carved within that holds knowledge across all of Athair in books, scrolls and texts. The residence of the city is known as the Winter Foxes, they prefer to keep to themselves and study whatever piques their curiosity; Others experiment or test ideas and write books upon it.
Many Kenra know not to anger or incur the wrath of Winter foxes, not only they are masters of knowledge they are masters of the arcane; their leader the headmistress has mastered the arcane to such a degree that she can level kingdoms armies with winter storms or rain frozen ice down upon them. So many choose too not attack the city but choose to attack Winter foxes through ambushes and anti-magic tools.
The Winter fox's library is open to all who seek to learn and study, they believe knowledge should be shared and understanded by all and seek to enlighten all of Athair, they seek knowledge above all else and seek to study and understand the world around them, this goes to their goddess Lahisa. Who gave upon them this ideal.
"One should seek knowledge, learn of it, master it; And share it to those who wish to be enlighten. Only through this, we build a better future."
Lahisa never did state how one should seek knowledge, this made the Winter foxes split into two factions, The White flowers, and The Black flowers.
The White Flowers ideals and purpose was to seek knowledge safely, never to gain it through cruel and horrific means. They would request and study things they don't understand with kindness and gentleness, not wishing to cause harm to both people and the environment. This sadly forces their research to take less risks and take longer to complete, which in some case. Costs lives if they are trying to find a cure to an unknown plague or disease.
"By Lahisa's words and voice, we shall learn through safety and rules, we shall never dare to harm those for knowledge! For we are the White flowers, pure as her mind!"
The Black Flowers ideals and purpose was to seek knowledge by any means, to gain it through cruel and horrific means. They wouldn't care if you didn't wish for your body to be dissected or used for experiments of the dark arts of magic. They would take risks to complete their research and theories if it means it will benefit everyone, to them your just another walking curiosity for them to open up and see what makes you tick. But through their cruel actions they have learn ways to cure and help many people, none will know of their deeds for they operate in the underbelly of the city.
"By Lahisa's words and voice, we shall learn without restraints, we shall do what we must for the sake of knowledge. For we are the Black flowers, cold as her heart."
These two groups nearly had a civil war over these ideals, but thanks to the wisdom and intellect of the Headmistresses of both groups, they came to an agreement, The White flowers would be the face that all of Charadawn would see, but never learn of The Black Flowers and their deeds of seeking knowledge. If one enters the city of Lahisa's fang, take care not to break the rules; If one's sentence is life, the White flowers will send you to the Black flowers to be their newest subject to their cruel and twisted experiments... No one ever escapes them alive or dead...
This is another sister of the four goddesses, Lahisa! She is seen as the elder of the sisters.
