This was a real treat of a commission. I've wanted to commission Spicemallow for a long time, but the slots would never open at the right time for me. WELL! One day I manage to put myself down as being interested for one and I got selected! Turns out Spicemallow had been wanting to draw for me for a while as well ;_;

I have to laugh at the exchange. I give her my usual artistic freedom that I tend to do for artists I'm commissioning for the first time (or just like...any time they want it really) and a massive, enormous TWO WEEKS passes and she sends me a note with the finished commission saying "Apologies for the delay" XD The longest I've waited for a commission is two years and ten months >.> And you know what? They were heckin' amazing when they got to me finally :D

ANYWAY I LOVE HER STYLE SO MUCH! Everything is so clean cute and smooth, especially her hair! The colors are so soothing and the shading is excellent! I really love the look of her face here, she looks so sweet but has a hint of playfulness to her :D The outfit she put her in looks really cute as well! I'm not used to getting busts so I'll forever have to imagine the rest of the outfit, but I really adore this all the same :D

This really makes me think she's being the face of a TV show or something. I get the impression she's greeting a crowd of people with how fanciful she's dressed up :D

She doesn't open commissions often, she's dealing with injuries that really limit what she can do for work :( Though last she said she's getting a bit better :D I'd have commissioned her way more often if that weren't the case though I assure you, she was an absolute delight to work with and I hope I get the chance to do so again ♥
