Done for me years ago by an artist who's since left the fandom (Julie Thompson), this is a picture of Ardashir first meeting the Kayanian she-jackal he (eventually) marries, Talibah.
At this point in his life Ardashir is in his late teens (16-17?) and was riding with a group of other young Maryanna (pronounced Mar-YAN-na) as they raided along the borders of the empire of Varkashar, mostly looking for movable loot like horses and jewelry. Or prisoners for ransom, which is how Ardashir took Talibah back to their camp.
Unknown to him, the "dancing girl" was actually sent out to spy on the raiders so the savaran (armored cavalry) of Varkashar could put a stop to it. She decided that seducing Ardashir would be the best way to get some more freedom around the camp, and so here we see Talibah giving Ardashir the dance of the seven veils, jackal style. She's just whipped her tail sock off (like a veil in this society) and flicked it under his muzzle. A very blatant come-on among these people, especially when she's technically a 'guest', and Ardashir is appropriately shocked..
I have got to write this story up someday. The look of the dress and frame is based on Scythian and Sarmatian art styles as found in Siberian tombs. Talibah's look is more Middle eastern, as it should be.
