For years, Maxine only wanted to leave her cruel, dark life of crime and murder. One of her main motives for this is to mend the fragile ties between her aunt and niece, who have some idea of the acts Maxine has committed and thus have little wish to make any contact with her. Maxine's aunt and niece are the only family she has left, and regaining their trust in her will not be easy, especially when she suddenly becomes the primary target of her former organization.
