no, babies breath is called that because it is most often used as gifts or decoration for baby showers, the association with children, combined with the fact that slender man here is holding the flowers, almost possessively, given the lore, can be seen as a nod to the fact he takes children.
taking this further, babies breath is for everlasting love in the language of flowers, since the flowers are so resilient, and the fact he is holding them to his chest, implies he takes the children he loves, in some way. I believe he goes for children abused by their families. so he may have a kind of fatherly love for the kids he takes. and that's how eyeless jack and jeff become his proxies? maybe I'm reading way too deep into this because it's almost 2 in the morning XD

for me, i thought that this flowers has some common with him because as i imagine his skin is white and rough kinda like gypsum or alabaster. i also see slenderman as very thin, visualy fragile and horribly beautiful in some way, like a monstrous flower that can easily kill you. when i saw gypsophila, slenderman was the first i thought of, so i decided to draw this piece. not really deep honestly...
