Might be neat to do a study, try some techniques specifically targeting recreating the style with this as a reference!
Are you talking about the swirly light patterns around her areolas or the way her tongue is rounded out? I'd like to try to figure out the mouth details because I do sometimes struggle getting that kind of roundness. But I think I could manage the light patterns with a quick brush stroke to get the general highlight in place and then using a good smudge brush or two to push and pull the light around the curvature. Kind of a similar technique to what you might do for shading hair, except instead of going with the flow of the hair, you're smudging the highlight around the shape. I like how it's much more subtle on her muzzle, but there's still a bit of up-down 'messiness' to the lighting that accentuates the shape against the rest of her head.
I really should be taking notes, this is just the sort of thing I usually can't nail down~
