July is the month for disability pride, so I put some of my ocs together. I have others, but their lore isn't developed yet so I prefer to wait

Some things might overlap, but this is for me to have an “official” reference. Since it’s mixed with fantasy elements, it differs a bit from reality. It might not be accurate, as I still have to do a lot of research.
Mzult (CPTSD)
Mzult was a high-ranking angel that was bitten by the first ever vampire (Zachaeus Taos). That poisoned him, but the main problem were the other angels. They saw him as inferior because he had been “dirtied” and mistreated him. First it was only words, but it evolved to physical abuse. Even the lowest ranking angels mistreated him, they’d pluck out his wings every day, and when they regrew, they’d do it again. The angel in charge of Heaven, who was supposed to be the parental figure, became a source of fear. Centuries later, Zachaeus reclaimed him and took him away from Heaven, somehow saving him. Mzult is in a relationship with Alex (half-elf) and feels more in peace, but he’ll suffer the consequences of the angels forever.
He has very vivid nightmares, mild hallucinations (mostly auditory, sometimes visual). There’s also memory loss, from entire periods of times to small things. The chronic illness physically exhausts him, to the point he can’t get up from bed some days. Though he doesn’t feel the physical pain doesn’t mean he’s immune, he’s nervous system is damaged, as well as some organs, so he’s constantly visiting the doctors.
Niktós (Mutism)
He has dysarthria, he can create sounds but it’s very difficult to produce words. He uses sign language (one used by species with tail and ears rather than facial expressions), and when he has to interact with someone that doesn’t know it, he uses his sand power to write it out.
Koro (Visual impairment, Photophobia, Anxiety, Hard Hearing)
Visual impairment/Photophobia. Due a magical experiment with Oishi centuries ago, his eyes have suffered. His lacrimal isn’t functional and has very dry eyes, so he has to use his water magic constantly or his sight will be blurry. His sclera and retina are damaged too, which makes him very sensitive to light. He is nocturnal to avoid the sunlight.
Generalized Anxiety disorder. It affects mainly his relationships. Panic attacks aren’t often and he hasn’t been prescribed any meds. When he has sensory overload or bad anxiety, leaves any situation and comes back after he feels better.
Hard of Hearing (Conductive hearing loss). Due a magical experiment with Oishi centuries ago, his hearing has suffered. He mostly struggles with low frequency sounds. Doesn’t know how to read lips very well yet, though he uses sign language. Since he uses water/ice magic, he can’t have hearing aids.
Aveline Herroux (Visual impairment, ASD / ADHD)
Visual impairment on left eye (severe) due an accident. There is some sort of magical lenses that can help with it, but she feels uncomfortable feeling the texture on her eye.
ADHD. As a kid she struggled in school, meds leaving her numb and zoning out. As an adult it got a bit better and no longer takes them, though she does monthly check ups with her therapist to make sure she’s okay.
ASD. She’s on the autism spectrum. Due her sensitive hearing, loud noises and other specific ones are worse (especially the. Her most common stims are holding her hair as a plushie and caress it, liking the soft texture of it, braiding and unbraiding it, though depending on the situation she also finger drums, uses her stim toy (those square ones with lots of buttons to click) and growling. She struggles a bit with verbal communication, but has no problem with non-verbal communication. At her job, they commodify the tasks, for example, writing out step by step what she has to do. Aveline is exceptional with physical activities (she’s a hero for a reason), but at the same time her gross motor coordination is impaired, causing her to bump into everything. Her sister, aunt and cousin are also on the spectrum, so when she was born the family already knew what to do.
Aoi (Psychosis/ Mild Depression)
Since she was a child, she was bullied and abused because of the appearance of his quirk. It affected her both physically and mentally, and developed an eating disorder (she’s ok now). Keeping his hobbies and relationships was difficult, but now she has a few close friends that love her a lot.
As a young adult, she developed psychosis. She has auditory hallucinations (mostly steps) and visuals (lights), as well as experiences delusions. It was hard to find the right meds, as some antipsychotics can make you more susceptible to heat exhaustion, and with her active lifestyle and fur, it was incompatible. Their actual meds work better, but present side effects.
Hoshi (PTSD, physical disability)
He was a private detective and looked too much into a murderer, Hayato. Though it is illegal for private investigators to work in criminal cases, he was really interested in this one. Unfortunately, Hayato caught him and almost killed him, leaving Hoshi full of scars and with a missing leg. He retired after this to focus on his rehabilitation program. After the incident, he’s always on guard and hypervigilant, with sleeping problems, lethargy and experiences flashbacks. He also has symptoms that aren’t visible, like not trusting others or constant worrying.
He is missing his right leg. Oishi created a leg prosthetic for him, that can absorb magic (some sort of a magic amulet) and transform it into heat, for protection or to withstand the cold, though he sometimes uses a wheelchair. He’s considering getting a service dog.
César Fierro (Hard of hearing).
Mild hearing loss on his right ear, more severe on the left ear. It is hereditary and he might experience more loss in the future. He is considering a cochlear implant. He can have a conversation, though people with high pitched voices are harder to understand, so he reads their lips instead. He learned sign language (LIS). It made it harder to get employed, but he found a job at a bakery and plans to open one of his own in the future.
Oishi (chronic pain/fatigue)
• Due a magical incident with Koro, his spell backlashed. He developed a similar illness to fibromyalgia, being in pain everyday (somedays are better than others). He’s almost immortal, but not immune to health conditions. He also suffers from migraines. Koro takes care of him, mostly cooking, going for groceries, or cleaning the house. His magic is intact, so if he can’t walk far away, he can float using his magic, though his pain doesn’t disappear.
