The current page of Xerian has a flashback of the Cyberjags in their natural habitat - a totalitarian hellhole. In the final version of the comic the signs were obscured, and I added a haze effect to try and separate the augmented cyborg panthers from the fully robotic one in front.
So here is the original artwork, and a bonus panel of Jakob patting a cyberjag on the back with his shiny opera gloves. I quite like how that turned out so I've included it too.
I have been starting to write the origin story where Jakob rescues the panthers, but it's very dark and I keep having new ideas that don't quite fit the established canon, so we'll have to see what happens to that.
