Glory is the first big collaboration between  foxenawolf and myself. She does the linework, and I make it a comic. Basically I draw the panels and do the toning and shading and tweak and move and wiggle people around and just comic it up. I also write the script.

After his snack and drink Rusty decides to pass the time in the traditional manner. I used the universal comic trick of having word like scribbles in a word balloon to convey that Rusty can hear Verse and Sam talking but can't make the words out, and since Rusty is the everyman and the story's vehicle for introducing you to things, since he can't hear them you can't either. That isn't a narrative rule you MUST stick to, but it helps the reader to have someone they can relate to in some manner right off the bat until they get to know the cast and pick their own favorite. It's like a Wal-Mart greeter but for comics. Yes, I went there. Aren't you glad you read the description and you get to find little gems like this?
