Finally finished this behemoth of a picture, took a lot of techniques (and development of new ones!) to get right.
Calico’s true form is that of a Nekomata, a type of yokai that takes on the form of a fork-tailed cat. They are often described as cats with ‘beast-like’ bodies similar to that of a dog. They can also change their appearance to harm or trick humans. Calico is a sweet soul however, and has no interest in hurting others. She just wants to mingle in with others so she can try every cafe in town for their sweet treats and drinks.
