Warm rays of light crest over the mountain peeks, shining down into the valley below. The streaks of light catch the flowers blooming in the field, they appear to shine and shimmer in the light, almost like twinkling lights in broad daylight. The grass lazily sways in the breeze, the petals of the flowers dancing in tandem with the butterflies. It’s quiet and peaceful, the only sound that of the gently rustling grass in the wind. The warmth of the sun in the cool air makes it one of those days where you feel there isn’t a care in the world. One of those days you can just happily relax, soaking up the warmth and feeling content dreaming the day away. And at the end, when the sun starts to set and the stars appear in the sky, you know it was time well spent.
This piece just makes me smile. The feeling of peace and tranquility, the beauty of the booming flowers, the warmth you can almost feel coming from the sun. It’s exactly what I had hoped for. I love the framing with the flowers in the bottom and the mountains above her, its simple but effective. And I just love all the little touches; the flower in her mane, the butterfly resting on her tail spade, the way her wings and dress shimmer in the sunlight. It’s just all so beautiful <3
