Yeah, that is weird and what's even creepier is that they both almost look the same. Though Cabbage is a lot thinner of course.

I'm surprised he can still stand with that huge belly weighing him down. And to think he's not even done yet.

Maybe he shifts between standing and sitting down and in the middle and lower panel the belly is resting on the ground so that might perhaps make it easier to stand? Though it's not easy to move around with such a big and heavy belly!

Yep, but all he's focused on is finishing that cabbage, so he just continues to eat, growing his belly even larger, not thinking at all of the consequences!
