It is nice to have the freedom to haul whatever I want, but the downside is... I almost NEVER need to, and it only gets about 18.5mpg. Commuting to school can cost $6+ a day.
I do enjoy storing my Fursuit in the back seat 24/7 though, so I always have it for whenever. And it's nice when friends need a life every so often. It's the van I learned to drive in 5 years ago too.
