Commentaries about "Distorsions - quicksands"

Having spent too much time on the Ashura Temple, I decided to continue the "distorsions" serie with pictures I knew were achievable in a very short time (with relatively simple mecha), rather than starting right away with the Bang SSI Kuvulcan for which I already got a pretty precise picture in my mind since a long time, along with a few drafts.
So here you are, with a picture that only took me a few hours to complete.

Inspiration clues: the Maglow seems to be well-suited for extreme temperatures with its overlaping armor, its very protective facial mask, its round shapes and light brown color
