So between all the hybrid siblings, cousins and other such family members, i think its safe to assume that while hybrids seems to be somewhat random, families with hybrid members history does have a higher chance of having them, which means hybridisation might be genetic, and not as random as it seems, maybe even predictable. In addition, Stretching out that logic may mean future hybrid parents have a very low chance of having non hybrid children. Which mean as the population mix non hybrids will become the 1 in a 1000, and then, eventually, would likely become even rarer, or completely vanish. May I ask the creator to comment on this observation of mine? Hehe
Great to know! I love analyzing world building so im sensitive to those details. Started having this idea when we met the bat brats, if hybrids truly fully random, then what are the chances of one family having 3 hybrids, all the same species, one right after the other? This page was a very telling sign as well. The twins also fit, but it didn't trigger any particular "red lights" bc they are twins, and their case could easily be explained bc of that. now the question is, how much does the in world scientists know? Have they figured it out yet? If so, have they isolated the possible cause of it? I've been super hyped to return to the hospital for the follow up exam (hospital was one of my fave chapters. Super fun dynamic, loved the doctor. And i got some world building intel), but now I'm even more excited!
P.s. im sorry for the txt wall 😅 i get nerdy about comics i like
