A Panel snippet from my - in progress- comic, MYRE Vol 2! — This time in full. I decided to post the entirety of this panel, showing an Yrian creature named Kurrukh. I can't express how much I enjoy the scenes with this beast! MYRE 2 is still in progress. I plan to complete it by the end of 2023.
In the future, I'd love to make a few more extra paintings with these, just to explore the species some more!
I'm doing quite well. Life's very busy, which is why I haven't had a chance to post more updates here yet. Yet my stack of Myre Vol 2 and art is growing. smiley

Let's see... long narrow jaws; backward-pointing, sharp, regular but relatively small teeth, with neither fangs nor molars. Clearly evolved to catch and grip wriggly prey but not to tear down big animals or to break robust bones. First guess would be that he's a fish-eater, but the head armouring might suggest something more formidable like venomous eels or striking water-snakes.
Enormous and very sturdy claws, non-retractable. Muscular and streamlined form, rudder tail. More evidence of a watery or swampy environment. The claws in particular suggest prowess at digging, or finding footing on uncertain gruond. This guy could probably run up that mountainside almost as easily as along the valley bottom.
