I can totally see this clash of attitudes. Rabbit is one who doubts himself and get caught up in cycles of despondency, like when he thought his birthday was forgotten. I can see Stan hopping about, in total disbelief that anyone could regret having an ass of that magnitude, while Rabbit sadly laments his physique. Stan declaring that he has the greatest butt in the 100-acre woods and Rabbit taking that as making fun. Until Stan is practically crazy with indignation. There is yelling and antics before everyone gets to calm down and the woozle explains that he does not love Rabbit in spite of that butt, but very much because of it. There are hugs fore everyone.

Not without some support, that's a lotta bun to hold up. I can just imagine Stan trying to be romantic and lift Rabbit of his feet... only to find it really, really difficult, struggling to hold them up while Rab is swooning and all 'Oh Stan...'
