Today is my birthday.
I remember my last birthday, when I was at home and when I could afford to be sad on this day. Since the beginning of the war, I have rethought my life a lot, and now I can't cry on this day - as it turns out, I appreciate life and I like to live it, otherwise I would have stayed under shelling in Kharkiv instead of moving to a safer city. So today I'm going to celebrate for the first time in a long time. I'm insanely lucky that I can do this, and that my family and friends are alive and well. I will give thanks on this day to all who are now fighting for lives like mine in Ukraine, and to all who support us in this fight.
Thank you to those who stay with me during this time, thank you to everyone who writes nice comments and helps financially. I'm really madly glad that you exist, and that our paths have crossed in this vast world.
