Isn't there a dungeon that fulfils wishes?
Of course there is, and he even got his phone from there. But is it one wish ever, one wish per expedition or one wish per person? Cause I personally think that author tried to imply that Nessa could be his kid/gran-kid, and there are ways to make it happen.
That itself may even be an adventure for a rescue team. Potentially with a "Sure, you are compatible now, Raichu. What is your wish, Swampert?" "Hey, can I have my phone?! :D" scene, if that wish mentioned works by third scenario.
