There's a reason why my Ryperna characters wear kilts, loincloths, and dresses (or nothing at all) instead of shorts, pants, and pantaloons down there. This is pretty much it, especially during the Eustrom Festival if one becomes a higher order of Wielder.

i wouldn't doubt that every ShapeShifter has a night gown or some such at home for when they want to let their tail out.

i know i would, i can only imagine even expertly altered pants/shorts would try to cut your tail off!
