I wanted to get some artwork done in some form of Dark Souls theme. Settled on something in Darkroot Forest and contacted Acid as I liked his style. I love how it turned out.

This is by far my best piece so far. I'll be honest, at first when I saw the prices, as someone relatively inexperienced with commissioning art, the prices scared me a little. However, I don't regret it in the slightest. Cid is probably the easiest artist I've personally talked to, and is very human. It didn't feel like this was a formal boring business deal, he made it fun and exciting. So, thank you for that. Would love to comm him again some time, was well worth it.
