Anileonyx is a Species off Non-Binary Felines, Anileonyx's have 2 Sub species, ShadeLings and Brightlings.
Brightlings are the Living Version, they fear the dark and will hide during the night, during the day they are very active and happy, they like to play around and have fun.
ShadeLings are the Dead Aspect, they hunt for Brightlings for their souls, once a Brightling has their soul eaten they to become a ShadeLing, ShadeLings stay in the Shadows and only come out at night as the sun can kill them, they prefer to avoid water to as water can hurt them.

Anileonyx is an open Species, meaning you are allowed to make your own art off the species as long as it follows the Restrictions.

Restrictions:
Brightlings have to be Primarily White or bright-Tan with Markings that can be any colour their eyes much match the inner ears.
ShadeLings have to be Primarily Black or a dark colour, secondary must be dark as well, their Eyes much match the inner ears.
Both Species must have Glossy fur on the Inner ears, they are fully covered in fur and they have 4 arms, they cant have tails but they can however have small spikes around their body.
Fins cant be on them either.
art must be SFW as the Species is non binary and do not have Male or Female Features (Reproductive Organs, Breasts, Nipples, ETC)
they can not become Hybrids as they live in a Dimension where they are the only Anthro Species

Ability's:
ShadeLings can control the Shadows around them and can travel thru them.
Brightlings can reflect Sunlight using their ears which is their only true defence against ShadeLings, they can Float but not Fly and are Brilliant Swimmers, they can hold their breath under water for almost an hour.

Physicality:
Both species can be anything from 7 to 10 feet tall.
their weight is ''controversial'', Brightlings Weigh anything between 80 and 150 KG, while ShadeLings rage from 10-20 as they are mainly just a Shadow and don't leave foot prints.

Strength, Speed and Mental state:
Brightlings are Fast, Ranging from 70 to 110 MPH but lag in strength, they are happy and hyper in the day but spend the nights afraid.
ShadeLings are slower, ranging from 50-80 MPH but can lift more than 50 times their own weight compared to Brightlings that can maybe lift 10 times their own Weight, they tend to be Angry and Aggresive, and during the night they go complete Monster not being able to focus on anything other than Hunting.

Reproduction:
Brightlings do not Reproduce they are Reborn by Sending their Spirits into Crystals where they rest for decades before they come out again in a new body, they do not have memory off past lives when they are reborn.
ShadeLings are Doomed to be the Monsters they are for Eternity, they are not Reborn, but if they do not devour any souls for a long time they may start to fade into nothingness slowly weakening them until they simply disappear.

Lifespan:
Brightlings have to be reborn every 200-300 years, they start to Grow weaker after only 200 years, slowly losing they're magic, speed and high moods.
ShadeLings can only last 5-10 years without devouring any souls.

Menu:
Brightlings live off of Fish, Fruit and Nuts, while ShadeLings lag the ability to Eat.

More:
If a Crystal is Damaged while a Brightling is inside, the Brightling can risk Dying or hatching as a ShadeLing, if they Hatch as a ShadeLing they may Die the moment they hatch as they usually hatch in sun light.

Home:
They're Home is just a Large Ocean with Small Tropical Islands spread all around the Ocean, the Entire Ocean is around 100 to 300 meters Deep but at points have cracks that can go miles deep, the whole ocean bottom is covered in a colourful coral reef.
each island is in different sizes, from the smaller ones being less than 10 square miles to the biggest ones being over 500 square miles, the oceans are spread into 17 Territory's, each are identical with the same weather but with their own Tribes off Brightlings.
