I drew this after going on a friend date with the well loved Lady Tiger, on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. We inadvertently turned up all 50's themed, skipped down the pier, rode the merry-go-round, took pictures in that little picture booth thing (I had never done that before), had ice cream and made googly eyes at each other while some well intentioned music played. It was one of the few nights that I really enjoyed while I lived in Los Gatos.
