This was a fun piece to commission. As it was inspired by one of my favorite Skillet songs, Monster. Despite our best efforts of trying to maintain a positive light on things. Sometimes the darker side of us shows through but not for long. But it is a fine balance one has to maintain, as sometimes despite our best efforts to remain kind, caring, and over all a good person. The darkness reaches up towards the surface with all its might, scratching just beneath the skin clawing and aching to be free. Looks like Jake here has a bit of both showing at the moment, the question is will the darkness consume him or will he be able to regain control.
