Standing on the fabric of space, Kthaarae takes a moment to look down at her staff and the first world she added to her collection of various worlds on her person and which continues to hold a special sentimental place for her. Her staff's magical focus and inhabited by so many who happily assist her in exchange for the bounty she provides them and comfortable lives. Admittedly with a tendency to find themselves smooshed against her as a result of her surprisingly frequent growsplosions, but even those can be quite enjoyable ^^;

Phew after 3 years I've finally returned once more to this picture concept!
Kthaarae's very first picture way back in 2018 was only the third giant Pokemon picture annnnnd it kind-of showed (those noodle arms...) XD
But! It was an important learning experience just as all the pictures I've ever drawn have been.
It's also looking back there at her first picture and seeing how her design has changed since then (longer hair, not a black nose, actually having a chest, hands...)

Then came my first redo of that first picture and there absolutely were solid improvements all over! I still look back at the picture now and see plenty of places that were needing plenty of improvement, but it's fascinating seeing the progression from the first to one year later c.c

And now we're finally here on this 3rd attempt at the concept and wow what a difference three years make o.O
I think the biggest thing is that it just feels so much softer. Yes she's softer now obviously, but there's also just the feel of her floof. In that first redo from three years ago, the floof feels "spikey" and now it flows much better and just looks a-lot softer <3

I've still got plenty to learn and improve on, but looking back at how my ability to art has improved and how my style has changed over the years is both fascinating and a comforting thing to see ^^
Here's to many more years of growth, improvment, and artings!
