Saltstar is a mostly gray cat with notable countershading with spots on his back meant to look like salt in reference to his name. he got the scars on his face as a kit when he met his father for the first time (who is a ShadowClan cat; his mother was RiverClan) who showed his rejection by clawing him in the face.
