I learned a new coloring technique when I visited 
nimrais nimmens and :ioconkaji: back in October and finally managed to finish this little piece in between. I am really happy how this is coming out!
I started working on it as practice back then and finished coloring yesterday while art jamming with a friend and
tybalt-the-friesian. They lured me away from my Bachelor thesis for a few hours... I thank them dearly, but I am still not back to drawing or doing commissions because the thesis is not yet done. :/ It's a long and hard road. But I feel glad that I have acxhieved some little progress in my artistic skills nontheless! Thank the gods... I already thought I forgot everything I knew. *_*

Mikador is a friesian. Enarin is my demon fighter from my Himmelsstürmer RPG.

You should! You can go on with the watercolor much more relaxed as I tend to freak out on it because I fear to ruin a picture. But with a soft grip to the colored pencils, you can blend in shadows and chose totally different colors for lighting effects and all! Very expressive technique! Try it one day and show me! Would love to see it.
interessante farbtechnik, hat was.. :) desweiteren ist es eine schöne szene. als ich noch reitstunden genommen hab kam es auch manchmal zu solchen szenen, pferdis wollen halt auch mal sachte gekrault werden, udn wenns nur die oberlippe ist. :)

Ja er liebt dieses PFerd. ^^ Das ging so weit dass ers nicht mit in die Schlacht genommen hat wenn zu erwarten war, dass es verletzt werden könnte. Es ist auch ein Geschenk von seinem Freund, dementsprechend hat das Tier darüber hinaus noch Bedeutung. Das wollte ich gerne irgendwie in den Ausdruck legen. gut wenns irgendwie gelungen ist. ^^ Danke dir.
Tis a good picture. Love the equine but personally not a fan of the red person. But thats not due to a lack of artistic talents just not my type of thing.
Guessing with the involvement of someone called Tybalt the fresian there was an intention of a fresiany horsey as there is a definite air of Fresian about the horse, which I like alot as fresians are one of my fave breeds. Very sexy horses indeed.
