A class project where we were asked to use various forms of color contrast in one image, of which I used my character Trychel.
I'd write up brief explanations of each, but they're probably self-explanatory enough that it'd be redundant next to the name, but it was a fun experiment trying to make contrast in very specific ways when the colors are otherwise very similar. For instance, the Light/Dark one features colors that are otherwise very similar in hue and saturation.
The weirdest contrast is probably the Simultaneous one. If I recall correctly, the point of it is to use a grayscale image with just a few splashes of color to make an illusion that its complimentary color is present when it's not. So the intent was to make it seem as though there was some very faint yellow in the image, but I suppose that's up to viewers if I succeeded in that or not.
Still, pretty fun project. It's always fun putting a character in various alternate colors.
