Catling and I had been talking about getting an old-timey portrait of Penelope for a while, and when it was decided the time was now it all came together pretty quickly! Catling did all the work for this one, she had so many classical references as she worked on this ♥
I love how this turned out, it's gorgeous! The way the fabric falls on the outfit, the way she's posed, the beautiful hair, the lighting, the total lack of expression XD It's perfect! I liked this one so much I uploaded it to SL and used it as a painting in my house :3 I want to get a doodle later on in an old Victorian manor and have this up on a mantle :D
This is a theme I really should explore more, Penelope is a big fan of history herself, classical themes and outfits SHOULD BE a given! ...Too distracted by cutesy modern stuff :x
