Whenever I come to Catling when it's commission time I always like asking if she's got any ideas that she'd like to do, before I offer the ones I have in mind. She usually always has something super cute or interesting in mind and she's yet to let me down ♥ This is the result of her brainstorming a commercial for a cute doll, and it developed pretty quickly from there :D

This is styled as a TV commercial you'd see for a doll in the 90's. Somewhat obnoxious, but makes the product look REALLY COOL and you need to buy it RIGHT NOW while supplies last! We decided to feature a random Sugarbit, an adorable closed species that Catling made quite a while ago.

I really love the throwback to the style of those times. Random strokes of vivid colors, chunky non-flattering pieces of clothing, yet still maintaining a bit of cuteness to it all :D I love that she went with a pair of overalls (this is the second time Catling has drawn them for me and NEITHER TIME has been a full image, I NEED to fix this D:) as I always adore the things and its offshoots!

I only thought after the commission was completed to add in a fake phone number at the bottom of the screen in bold contrasting characters, but oh well :(

I really like this idea, I need to feature Penelope doing more commercials. It's a side-gig thing that she does after all!
